Parental Grievance Policy
Any parent who feels his/her child has been treated inappropriately is encouraged to request a conference with the teacher and/or principal. If a meeting with the principal fails to satisfy the parent, he or she is encouraged to seek an appointment with the Board Chair. In the event that the problem has not been resolved, the parent can request a team meeting including the teacher, the principal, and/or the department head. The final step is to write a letter describing the problem and requesting a meeting with the full board.
